Funding - Association and Centres
Funding is vital to all organisations and Little Athletics is no exception. Our funds are primarily obtained from Sponsors, Government and Members. If support from these areas is low usually the only option left is to increase membership fees, something we all like to avoid.

The Role of Government
Government plays a very important part in Sport in Queensland. The State Government has invested a great deal of money in support of sporting organisations throughout the State. Their aim, ultimately, is to strengthen the administration and development of these sports to such an extent that Government support could be withdrawn with minimal effect. Currently, the Government is on of the greatest sources of external funding to the QLAA, for which the Association is very grateful and formally expresses its thanks to the Minister for Sport and his Staff.
